Hello, and welcome to English Cocker Spaniel haven! Our story began in 2018, with a trip overseas to Europe and a little red English Cocker Spaniel puppy who came back with us. Little did we know that one sweet puppy would be followed by another the following year, two more the year after that, and that a full-time kennel would be born! Our kennel has evolved and grown over the years, and we as breeders have as well, but our commitment to our puppies and their families has remained the same: healthy, happy, and well-rounded puppies who will become beloved and lifelong companions. Robert James Whitmore & Elizabeth Anne Whitmore

Robert James Whitmore and Elizabeth Anne Whitmore are the founders of Heartland Spaniels and oversee the daily operations of the program. A Master Carpenter by trade, Robert is often found working on projects while caring for and training the dogs. Elizabeth is devoted to the puppies, ensuring every mom and litter is warm, clean, comfortable, and thriving with attentive, hands-on care.

Daniel Michael Whitmore & Sophia Grace Whitmore

Daniel Michael Whitmore and Sophia Grace Whitmore play an integral role in the daily operations of Heartland Spaniels. Daniel oversees the website, social media platforms, and all puppy placement coordination, while also managing health records and veterinary communications. If you’ve connected with us through Facebook, email, or phone, you’ve most likely spoken with Daniel or Sophia directly. Daniel also handles the detailed logistics and documentation for our European import trips, ensuring every step is completed with precision and compliance. Together, they enjoy maintaining lasting relationships with our extended puppy families and truly appreciate receiving updates and photos as each puppy grows and thrives in their new home.
